Even though Viscidus isn’t necessarily a very hard boss fight, the problem with it is that it wasn’t designed to take on solo. As a result, all the players that try to take him on themselves are unable to kill the boss.
How long does Viscidus take to reform?
You will first need to freeze him by landing a ton of frost attacks, followed by shattering him with a ton of physical attacks. There is a 15 second or so timer to beat on each individual freeze stage and when shattering him before he reverts to the previous stage, so make sure everyone contributes!
Is Viscidus immune to poison?
Most guilds keep their melee players away from Viscidus so that they don’t take poison damage. They have to stay at least 100 yards away to avoid damage. This can be accomplished either by standing on the staircase outside Viscidus’ room or by standing inside Viscidus’ room far off to one side.
