We Happy Few is an action-adventure survival horror video game developed by Compulsion Games and published by Gearbox Publishing. In 2016, an early access version was released for Microsoft Windows, with the full game seeing wide release for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One in August 2018.
Why is We Happy Few banned in Australia?
We Happy Few was initially refused classification in Australia, essentially originally banning the game, last year due to its portrayal of drug use – tasking you with surviving without use of the fictional hallucinogenic drug Joy, which NPCs take to attempt to forget a shared trauma.
