Most of the Blogger will moderate all the comments in their blog in order to reduce the Spam comments.As I earlier people uses the bad techniques and software’s to post a spam comments in our site.Even I notice that a newly created WordPress site with only 2 posts received 100 Spam comments daily but didn’t get traffic.

#1 WordPress plugin owned by Automattic Company, it helps your blog to prevent spam comments.You will need and API Key to run this plugin in your blog.

2. NoSpamDX -
Again a great plugin which protect your blog to prevent spam and the great feature of this plugin is, It doesn’t require any JavaScript, cookies and sessions.The installation and setup of this plugin is very simple.
3.Picatcha -
It works like CAPTCHA text which the visitor must fill the CAPTCHA box before comment on your post.
4.Cookies for Comment -
This plugin Sets a cookie on a random URL that is then checked when a comment is posted. If the cookie is missing the comment is marked as spam.
5.Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin -
One of the best and a little plugin but helped a lots.This plugin is developed by Andy Bailey who is the developer of CommentLUV.Visitor will have to tick the check box before leave a comment.The tick box said “Please check the box to confirm that you are NOT a spammer”. I also recommend to all of you to use this plugin in your blog.
6.Spammer Blocker -
It collects and record the IP Address of commentator and it auto detects the spam comments and it put in them in Black list who will never comment on your blog.
7.Did You Pass Math? -
The great plugin which says Did You Pass Maths? which means visitor must pass with simple maths than they will allow to leave a comment on your blog.Such as the plugin show please fill the math 4+5 = if they solve they will leave a comment on your blog.
8.Referrer Bouncer -
This plugin will help you to bounce back referrer spam attempts. It requires no upfront configuration and no mod-rewrite.
9.WP-Recaptcha -
This is another a best WordPress Anti-Spam Plugin which uses a collection of words from old books for Captcha verification.
10.bcSpamBlock -
It Uses Javascript and PHP crypt() functionality to ensure that a visitor is not a spambot. Requires no sessions or database. Based on JSSpamBlock.
