You must always make sure that you’re optimizing your blog and blog posts properly, It will make the Structure of Blog stronger and will result in high traffic.
A Blogger works very hard on his Blog Posts, But many times his post’s doesn’t get what he actually deserves, The Reason can be Poor SEO structure, bad promotion etc. Whatever the reason is you must always work to optimize your blog post, So that the post can get what it deserve. Today we’re going to talk about 5 things which you must check after publishing a blog post.

1. Social Bookmarking
Social Bookmarking is very important for getting high Traffic and making your blog post popular. Most bloggers ignore social bookmarking and thus lose a decent traffic which they would have gotten from these sites.
Social Bookmarking sites like StumbleUpon, Delicious, Reddit, Digg, Pinterest etc. are really good to start. Submit your articles to all of the above sites. The back links you get from these High Page Rank sites will help you get good traffic.
2. Share It on Social Media
Once you’re article is published, Share it on Social Networks like Facebook, Twitter, Google+ etc. You can use tools like RSS Graffiti, FriendFeed etc. It will automatically share your articles once it gets published on Facebook and Twitter respectively.
It is better if you share your articles manually on social networks, This way you can connect with your fans more effectively than automatic tools.
3. Ping It
Pinging your blog posts to search engines ensures that your new posts can be indexed as soon as possible. The Best way to ping your post is by using an online tool Ping-O-Matic which pings your new blog posts to major search engines. Other online services to ping your blog posts is Ping.in, Autopinger, IceRocket, Pingates etc.
After publishing your blog post, Make sure that you ping the post on these online tools.
4. Comment on Other Blogs
Commenting on blogs which are related to yours is a good way to attract new visitors. Never Spam other blogs by comments with links to your site because no one is going to tolerate it and you’ll end up getting blocked. Leave a quality comment or if you have more knowledge on that topic just comment with more information. Try commenting on dofollow sites or sites with CommentLuv enabled, This will ensure you a link back and you’ll start receiving traffic from that site.
5. Forum Posting
There are many forums on different topics on the internet, How about sharing your article there? Register on some forums which are related to your blog topic. You can share links to your articles there (Again, Don’t Spam. No one likes Spam and you’ll be kicked out if you do so)
Backlinks from forums are considered high quality and will bring decent traffic to your site.
